Grief coaching is dedicated time and space designed to help guide you through your loss in a way that feels true to you. Together, you will rebuild what you felt was torn down by the loss. Grief coaching will empower you to learn how to live with the loss and rediscover yourself. Help you feel like yourself again. Sessions are entirely virtual to make it easier for you to be in a comfortable and safe setting. As a multi-modality and interdisciplinary practitioner with a deep investment in your well-being, we may address some old wounds that the loss may activate. Ultimately, you are in total control of your grief journey and can find purpose again.
It's not mental health treatment and isn't covered by insurance. Sessions are 60 minutes, and packages are available.
We start with any questions you may have. You will be asked to share about yourself, your loss, and what brought you to seek grief coaching. During our video call, I will ask you questions and provide feedback. It will be very interactive. We will explore your goals and any expectations for this process. Remember, these are your sessions, and you are ultimately in complete control. I meet you where you are at. We will develop an action plan that fits your needs and deepest desires. It will be a safe and non-judgmental space where you'll receive support, validation, and compassion.
Yes, I do accept insurance for my therapy services. I am currently licensed to provide therapy in New York and Florida. I am in-network with UnitedHealthcare, Oxford Health Plans, Aetna, and Oscar. For out-of-network clients, I've partnered with Mentaya to help you get reimbursed for a portion of your sessions. To learn more about my therapy services, please click here.
Life & Grief Coaching, on the other hand, is not covered by insurance and is not restricted or regulated. Coaching adopts a holistic approach, focusing on the whole person (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual), and differs from therapy in that it is not a treatment per se, but rather a personal and goal-driven program. Coaching is available to anyone in any country.

Children are often viewed as “The Forgotten Grievers”. Children need support too. Unfortunately, I don’t provide services to children. I provide services to individuals 18+ years old. However here is a resource: https://www.dougy.org/program-finder
I only provide therapy to adults ages 18+. My specialty is working with women and the LGBTQ+ community, in the areas of grief, trauma, unresolved childhood issues, domestic violence, and stress/burnout. To learn more about my therapy services please visit WomenMix.
If you’re looking for therapy outside of my specialty, here are a few recommendations for other providers that may be a better fit.
